Introducing our first screen saver: Dots!
Welcome back, listeners! We're starting a new series here on the devlog where we take a dive into each screen saver, or clock face, how they work, and what options each might have.
We're gonna start with one of the more simple displays, and one of my favorites: Dots. It's a simple geometric display with 60 dots, one per minute. The elapsed minutes of the hour are filled solid, and the remaining dots are half opacity.
Each dot can also represent the current second, with a rolling highlight showing the current second.
It doesn't show the current hour, but I can usually guess that. Or is that stupid? I'm looking for testers, so let me know if you think I should include hours in this clock face (....somehow?).
